We recently completed a master bathroom in Windsor, Colorado. the shower has one porcelain tile wall with the remainder covered with a green glass and marble mosaic. The shower floor is 4 x 4 inch tumbled travertine.
The tumbled travertine is on the shower floor as well as the deck of the soaking tub. The porcelain accent wall is on the wet wall of the shower which includes a custom niche. The curb of the shower is also wrapped with the same white porcelain tile.
The glass and marble mosaics cover the rest of the installation. The large back wall of the shower continues along the lower back wall of the soaking tub and wraps around the remainder of the tub splash. The face of the tub deck is also covered with the mosaics and runs around into the shower to meet back around at the back wall.
The installation is completed with a small backsplash along the vanity with the same glass and marble mosaic.

The existing bathroom consisted of carpet (who ever thought THAT was a good idea?!?!?), a tub surround with a huge, ugly step up to it, and an acrylic…
I just finished a small bathroom with porcelain tile. The shower has tile to the ceiling and a travertine listello band. The floor has matching porcelain tile. The floor was installed over Hardibacker underlayment. The shower was installed with Schluter Kerdi waterproofing membrane over the top of the drywall. Another example of how Kerdi can…
Did you know there are different types of tile contractors? When searching for a tile contractor it is always best to find one who specializes in installations for your project type. Most professional tile contractors, oftentimes without even realizing it, fit into a specific niche. This is by no means an “official” categorization of contractor…

The 4″ x 4″ inserts were cut from full-size 12 x 12 inch porcelain tiles. The tile was installed over fiberboard underlayment. Against the wood floor I…
Tile Art recently finished a kitchen, dining room, hall, bathroom and entry floor remodel with 18 x 18 inch rainforest green marble. The homeowner wanted to replace the builder’s grade ceramic entry and bathroom floors, as well as the wood floor in the remainder of the main floor. After some time of decision making over…
I recently finished a total bathroom remodel in Fort Collins. The entire floor and shower surround were removed and replaced with all new substrates and tiled with porcelain. White walls and dark blue floor and accents give this bath a real clean European look and feel. The floor substrate is two layers of plywood beneath…
