Tile Installer Fort Collins, Colorado

TileArt is a certified, owner-operated tile installer based in Fort Collins, Colorado – and Fort Collins is home. It’s where Roger has installed tile since 1998 and where TileArt has operated since 2009. We do full bathroom and kitchen remodels, custom showers, backsplashes, natural stone, and floors – done by the person who’s actually on your job, start to finish. In a trade Colorado doesn’t license, that combination of certified and owner-operated is what separates a tile installation that lasts from an expensive redo.

A certified tile installer – not just whoever owns a saw

Colorado requires no license to install tile, so anyone can call themselves a “tile installer.” That’s exactly why credentials matter here. Roger holds Certified Tile Installer (CTI #847) from the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation – the only third-party, hands-on, industry-recognized tile-installation certification in the U.S. – plus Certified Tile Specialist (CTS), Certified Stone Specialist (CSS), and Installer Tile Specialist (ITS). When you hire TileArt, you’re hiring proven, independently verifiable skill. More about Roger’s credentials →

What we install in Fort Collins

We specialize in full bathroom and kitchen remodels and handle every part of the tile and stone work in-house:

Fort Collins homes we work in

Fort Collins is a mix, and each type of home calls for a different approach. Historic homes around Old Town come with plaster, character, and quirks that reward an experienced hand. Mid-century Midtown houses are often due for their first real update. And the newer subdivisions south and east of town – along the Harmony corridor and beyond – are full of builder-grade finishes worth upgrading with proper substrates and waterproofing. Working across the city since 1998, we match the method to the house rather than forcing every job into one style. We’ve completed quite a few projects in Clarendon Hills, Stone Ridge (Rigden Farm) and Fox Grove, as well as countless homes in and around Old Town, even a few in the Mosaic subdivision (already). Each building era requires a different technique, our experience ensures a proper approach.

Honest pricing

A remodel disrupts your home; it shouldn’t wreck your bank account. We work with local tile distributors and specialty manufacturers and pass our contractor’s discount on to you – we don’t mark up materials. What we earn comes from our work, not a markup on your tile. Ballpark installed pricing is published right on our FAQ page, because a well-informed client is a satisfied one.

Our guarantee

Rather than the typical one-year guarantee, we back the showers and installations we complete with a minimum ten-year – up to lifetime – guarantee, depending on the materials chosen. Most installation problems show up within the first two years, even sooner in a shower; standing behind our work far longer than that is only possible because it’s installed correctly in the first place.

Systems & materials

We match the system to the job: Schluter Kerdi and Ditra, liquid membranes like RedGard, HydroBan, and Hydrobarrier, cementitious backer board (Durock, HardieBacker), and traditional dry-pack mortar or EPS foam shower pans. We prefer Laticrete products throughout, including SpectraLOCK epoxy grout, which never needs sealing. Materials installed: porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, glass tile, and mosaics.
