Methods
At Tile Art we have the ability to utilize several different methods of tile installation in order to properly complete your project within your budget. The choice of different installation methods assists tremendously in being able to fit the entire scope of a project into a set budget and still end up with the design you’ve envisioned.
Our preferred method of building showers is with Schluter Kerdi, a polyethylene topical sheet membrane. This particular method places your waterproofing layer directly beneath your tile eliminating traditional ‘wet’ systems and, in turn, greatly reduces the possibility of standing water and mold. However, we also utilize five different shower building methods at different price points for each – Kerdi being only one.

Tile Art focuses mainly on kitchen backsplashes and full bathroom remodels. We specialize in custom showers including steam showers, ADA accessible showers and full walk-in showers – whether there is currently a shower in place or not. We also have the ability to include all the unique aspects such as built-in wall niches, oddly angled or shaped showers, and nearly any design element you wish to incorporate into your new shower.
