Roger did absolutely top notch work and was a breeze to work with. The tile in our new bathroom looks fantastic. He just finished one bathroom in our house and we are scheduling the next job and he will do the next one after that too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roger to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price with no hassles.

Roger also always showed up when he said he would and he finished the job when he said it would be finished. He is busy and so we had to schedule him a couple months in advance but he still started our job the day he said he would. That has to be a very hard thing to do and you have to really know what you are doing to pull it off.

My husband and I contacted two tile contractors to bid our tile work. Rogers bid was competitive, and he came across as very organized and professional, so we hired him. He is exactly as we perceived: very capable, professional, no nonsense. He started on time, did a great job matching up to an existing floor (that was slightly different) and finished quickly. After a terrible experience with a general contractor on another aspect of our remodel, it was a relief to find Roger. We will definitely recommend him to anyone who needs tile work. Thank you, Roger.

We interviewed three different upscale tile companies and chose Roger of TileArt because he was the only contractor that would be doing the work himself rather than some unknown work crew. We wanted “Warm Wire” installed under the tile and Roger was quite knowledable about what we wanted. We were doing both the master and guest bathrooms thus wanted a start and finish date so we could plan around not having a bath. Roger expected our baths would be completed in 7=10 days. We contracted in Sept. for work in late Nov. Gives you an idea of how popular Roger is so if you want someone next week make sure you talk about your schedule with him.
I have built bathrooms and tiled floors but Roger is way above my pay grade. He showed us what the “Art” in “TileArt” was all about. He laid out the entire floor artistically chosing each tile for best placement. Our tile pattern could best be explained as a cross-section of a mountain side. Random scrolling lines and waves. Roger laid all of this before any thinset was applied. In the end, I couldn’t find a problem with Roger’s work in either bath. Everything worked as promised and the floors were, according to my wife, “just beautiful”. She now sits on the comode looking at the floor patterns as you would looking for patterns in clouds in the sky.
Roger was attentive to our needs and questions, arrived when he said he would, and has overall excellent workmanship. We couldn’t be happier. I would have only one suggestion; since Roger is scheduled so far out and a sizable deposit required, a phone or email update periodically during the waiting period would have been comforting. In the end, couldn’t ask for a better job.

Glass tile backsplash in Loveland, ColoradoWe can’t thank you enough! Tim was having a terrible time installing the glass tile backsplash himself with all the tiles breaking. We called Roger to install the backsplash for us and it’s beautiful! The cuts and the grout lines are perfect. I hope he puts a picture of it on his website. Thanks thanks thanks

Porcelain and limestone master shower in Boulder, ColoradoBecause of Roger, we now have a fabulous new shower — both in looks and in function — instead of the obnoxious, poorly-constructed one we used to have. Instead of having absurd carpet in the same bathroom, we now have tile that Roger installed beautifully. It’s making the other tile floors in the house look dorky in comparison. I love our new backsplashes in our kitchen and powder room, too. Roger is clearly good at what he does, and he does it professionally. Other things we came to appreciate about Roger are his tidiness and his penchant for doing things right, even when right isn’t easy.

Marble master bathroom remodel in Fort CollinsRoger has made our bathroom feel like hotel living. Our marble tile floor, tub surround and shower is gorgeous!! Roger is an amazing craftsman and artist. I’m so glad I listened to all his suggestions. He is sooo worth waiting for!

Travertine master bathroom remodel in Windsor, COWe recently had Tile Art Center help us with a complete master bathroom remodel. The tile work turned out as expected – PERFECT!

We cannot say enough about Roger – he is the THE tile contractor in Northern Colorado. His drive for perfection and his professionalism make Roger very unique. The approach he takes is very consultative which makes things easier for very indecisive people like us. He is very patient and will not do anything unless it is done right and done perfectly. What else could you ask for?

    Thanks again Roger!

Thank you Roger. We are really pleased with our three bathroom floors. We appreciate your professional manner and organization on this project. We were able to “run our home as usual” with our kids and that meant a lot to us ! The kitchen plans are in the works and we will be calling on you at that time. All the best.

Roger is the real deal!! He walks his talk. I am helping my son remodel his master bath. His good friend owns a tile shop, but does mostly commercial work. When I learned that his installer came in and installed metal lath in thinset over the OSB subfloor in preparation for the warming mats, I panicked big time! They said that this is what we have to do to save height, plus “this is what we always do”. After a bit of research, my son realized this was wrong as well, but what to do? I called Roger. Then I asked the contractor to call Roger. Roger worked out a system that will “work”. He’s the man!!!!! A big hug from Marge in Colorado Springs

This is our second bath remodel, but the first with Roger with Tile Art, and we are so impressed with the quality of work that we are seriously considering redoing the master bath again. I am sending before and after photos for Roger to post on this site to show the amazing transformation our shabby bathroom went through. Roger, feel free to use us as a referral and expect to schedule a kitchen floor replacement sometime next year!

    • Judy and Jim Leth January 20, 2013, 6:47 pm

We finally scheduled our kitchen floor replacement and are thrilled with the work Roger or TileArt put into making it a great success. Gone is the torn linoleum, most of the squeaks from the warped subfloor and we now have a beautiful pinwheel porcelain that is solid and delightful. We love the look and are recommending TileArt to all our friends for their tile needs. Thanks!

I am very pleased with the work that was recently done by Roger of Tile Art Center. Roger saved the day on a botched kitchen floor job from a previous contractor, the work was completed in a timely manor at a reasonable price, and best of all every aspect of the job was done to my complete satisfaction. Roger kept me involved through the whole process of the job, I plan on using Roger again on an upcoming bathroom remodel, I would highly recommend Tile Art Center for any remodel needs. Excellent job!

Porcelain Slate Bathroom in Fort CollinsI just had Roger completely redo my bathroom, which is featured in his most recent blog post (Kerdi Porcelain Slate Tile Bathroom in Fort Collins). This was no small task and I must say the final result was nothing short of amazing. For the price, the time and the incredible craftsmanship, I couldn’t have found a better fit.

Roger tiled the floor to get rid of the old linoleum that was there. He then did a wainscot tile around the bathroom, and completely tiled the shower. The shower floor is comprised of small 1”x1” tiles and look amazing with the drain neatly tucked into place. Roger added an additional foot to the shower which was huge, since the bathroom isn’t too large to begin with and the area was previously wasted space. The recessed storage shelf looks great, and helps to keep the bathroom clean of clutter, highly recommended. He installed a new shower head and mixing valve.

Besides doing all the tile work, Roger also installed a new toilet, vanity and shower door at no charge. And when things didn’t work out as planned and I had to get new material, there was no additional charge for the extra labor. And on top of that, Roger also replaced a broken tile after I cracked it into pieces with a crowbar from doing carpet removal. Amazing service to say the least.

It was a pleasure to work with Tile Art and Roger. He was very professional, courteous and friendly. He helped me through each decision, and was full of helpful information. The price was lower than all the other companies that provided me quotes for the work. I highly recommend Tile Art and am hoping to get another project completed by them in the future.

Slate Master BathroomRoger did a fantastic job on our master bathroom. He installed the slate tile on the walls, tub surround, floors, and shower perfectly. Roger also did a great job laying down the in-floor heat, the DITRA & KERDI underlayment, and a granite window sill. It all came out even more beautiful than we expected.

We will definitely use Roger again on our next tile job!

We had Roger tear up our existing bathroom flooring and install new tile. It’s a project that we’ve been speaking about doing for some years now. Roger did an incredible job, was quick, efficient, courteous and left us with a floor that feels like a new bathroom to us.

We’d be happy to recommend Tile Art Center and Roger for any tile work. We hope we can work with Roger again when we do our shower walls.

Slate Pinwheel Floor in Fort CollinsMy husband and I decided it was time to do a simple make-over to our main bath and adjoining laundry room. When it came to laying the un-even slate we had picked for the floor we knew we had reached our limit. Roger replied to our plea for urgent help and did a fantastic and professional job. While choosing tile and a pattern may be easy, the detailed work Roger put in made the vision a reality.

Full Bathroom Remodel in Fort CollinsRoger is one of those contractors that you so rarely hear about, much less find – Honest, dependable, affordable, and accomplished at his trade! His rebuilding of our shower in the master bathroom is a work of art. When he said to us after finishing “If you have any problems, give me a call and I’ll be right over”, I wondered how true that was. Well there was a problem, we called and Lo and Behold – He came right over! The needed repairs were made without question, and we are now enjoying the beautiful master shower every day. Thank You Roger

Full Bathroom Remodel in Fort CollinsRoger saved our bathroom. The contractor we originally hired did a terrible job on our bathroom and we had to fire him three quarters of the way through. Roger came in and made it right. He has a great attention to detail. Every tile is laid perfectly. His prices are very fair. We liked what he did so much we had him come back and do the floors in our other bathrooms. I would definately recommend him.
    Thanks Roger!

Kerdi Bathroom Remodel in Fort CollinsRoger-

Becky and I absolutely love our new shower. Our new glass tile, bench and niches look fabulous. You far exceeded our expectations! We’ve also taken many photos, and shared with friends/family – the feedback was overwhelmingly positive!

We cant wait to begin using our new shower tomorrow, for our frameless glass enclosure installs today.

We plan to do more tile work in the next 6 months, so you will be hearing from us soon!

    Cheers!

Full Bathroom Remodel in Fort CollinsWow! It is difficult to find the words to describe the artwork that Roger has done for us. I feel like I’m in a luxury spa every time I step into my bathroom but especially the shower.

We chose Roger because he felt right, he was up front, honest and allowed us to do the tear down and some structural work so we could meet out budget. He was accommodating, flexible and easy to work with and answered whatever questions we had. When he was comfortable with us he offered his opinion and made suggestions when we asked for help. Additionally, his network of contacts allowed us to meet professional people who also helped us accomplish our goals. Roger performed his magic and has a knack for knowing what should be done when the homeowner, I, had no idea how to proceed. If we ever need tile work done again, his will be the first and only number we call. And I would recommend him to anyone who would listen.

Thank you Roger. You were great!!!!!

Porcelain and glass backsplash in Fort CollinsWe can’t say enough about what an outstanding job Roger did on our kitchen island and back splash. He’s a true professional who loves what he does and it really shows. Not only is his workmanship outstanding, but he had so many wonderful ideas that made the project look awesome. And the price was great too. He definitely exceeded all our expectations.

  • Rebekah August 24, 2009, 2:55 pm

We loved the tile job done in our kitchen! Roger was super fast and efficient all the while doing a beautiful job! Thanks!

  • chad July 21, 2009, 9:54 pm

Roger’s service is incredible! My wife and I watched him remodel our bathroom shower and you can really tell he loves what he does. His attention to detail and knowledge are impressive. It is great to see someone truly enjoy what he does – you can tell. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a tile contractor.

  • Jeffrey June 22, 2009, 9:55 am

All Roger did for us was a small kitchen backsplash after we installed new cabinets but he acted as if it were the most important area in the house. It was only small tiles with little inserts but he treated it like he was doing a million dollar remodel! I wish we would have found him before we put laminate on or we would have had him tile the counters too. We will definitely be giving him a call when we are ready to remodel our bathrooms.
    Extremely professional and courteous. Thanks!

  • susan June 17, 2009, 12:24 pm

Our backsplash looks wonderful. Tile Art gave us a great deal and finished very quickly. Roger took great care of our new counters and faucet while installing the backsplash. Job well done. Thank you.

  • Linda June 9, 2009, 3:51 pm

Roger helped us save a lot by suggesting granite tiles on our kitchen counters instead of “slab” granite. We picked a grout that matched the tile and it looks great for a fraction of what we would have spent for the whole granite top. Great job!

  • Barb May 28, 2009, 7:09 am

We love our new master bathroom! Roger was very knowledgable about different methods and choices for our project and helped us decide which to use. When we asked about the kerdi shower he explained why it was the best choice and the difference between it and other techniques. It actually does work differently, who knew? He answered every question we had and made sure all our questions were answered before he even started.
And we get a five-year guarantee! Roger’s service can not be beat.

  • Emerson May 14, 2009, 2:48 pm

I could not believe how affordable it was to have Tile art do my kitchen and bathroom floors. I expected to pay a lot for the installation and they were very reasonable. Top notch service too. Thanks.
