My last blog post mentioned the recent Staron vanity countertops we installed in Fort Collins. I have received a couple of emails requesting more information about this product so I’ve decided to write up a quick post regarding the Staron as well as a couple of like options.
Staron is a hard-surface product used for countertops. It is almost identical to Corian hard-surface countertops but it is nearly half the price! It has the same advantages as the Corian in that it is easy to clean, durable and very stain-resistant. You can view more detailed information at their website here: Staron Hard Surface Countertops.
Tile Art installs three basic types of this material: Corian, Meganite, and Staron. The Corian is the most commonly known, the Meganite and Staron are lesser known but nearly identical products. Between the three you can choose from over 300 different colors and textures.
Price-wise the Corian is usually the highest, Meganite comes in just below that and the Staron is normally the lowest priced of the three. You can click on the name of any of the three products above to visit their respective websites for more information.
We can install this material on vanity countertops as well as kitchen countertops. We have them made to order to ensure a perfect fit and come with a wide variety of edge finishes. They are also available in different textures and translucencies and can be backlit as well. With certain options you can have lighted countertops with the durability of a solid surface material.
We can also custom order different color inlays and bands to give your countertop a truly unique look.
Installation normally takes less than a day so you can go from your current, unwanted, difficult to maintain countertops to a solid surface, durable custom countertop in minimal time. Give us a call today or fill out our contact form and let us show you all the options available for your new countertops.
